I started The Chocolate Chip Cottage as a way to bring warmth, connection, and comfort to my community through beautifully made baked goods. What began as a small cottage bakery quickly grew into a local brand centered on elevated gifting, memorable treats, and heartfelt experiences.
Ever since launching, I’ve been able to combine my love for creativity, hospitality, and community care into something I’m proud to share!

My love for baking began at 12, when I became utterly enchanted by Levain Bakery’s legendary cookie showdown with Bobby Flay. (Spoiler: their victory lives rent-free in my head—and apparently my recipe book—forever.)
I hold two bachelor’s degrees, and I was just accepted into my third graduate degree. Yes, I bake cookies and write research papers for fun.
I’m a Knowledge Management Specialist, which is the elegant way of saying I organize chaos, connect people to information, and build systems that make everyone’s life easier. (And yes, this absolutely influences how I run my bakery.)
I’ve lived everywhere, thanks to being a military child. Constantly moving taught me to build community wherever I go—and to make comfort food that feels like home.
The Chocolate Chip Cottage is my love letter to the magic of connection. Every recipe is crafted with intention, every detail chosen to bring warmth, joy, and a touch of elegance to the people I serve. My life has woven together psychology, business, knowledge management, and baking—so this cottage is where all of that becomes something beautiful (and delicious) for my community.

I launched this journey with a spark that started when I was twelve years old—watching
Levain Bakery go head-to-head with Bobby Flay and win with unapologetically giant,
rule-breaking cookies.
That moment stayed with me through two bachelor’s degrees, a career as a
Knowledge Management Specialist, and now into my third graduate program.
My life sits at the intersection of structure and soul. I love the precision of building
systems just as much as I love the artistry of creating something warm, nostalgic,
and joy-filled for my community.
Whether I’m streamlining information for an organization or crafting a box of cookies
for a family celebration, my intention is always the same:
